LOL I couldn’t come up with a better blog title for this entry haha. YUM YUM RAMEN AND DOG TREATS!!! Hahahahaha!!!

Anyways, I’m in a mood for writing (read: the other option was to do school stuff…) so excuse me for writing a lot of boring stuff now! YOU ARE NOW WARNED.

Marcus was really cute and encouraged me to buy new shoes, since off brand-made of plastic only-shoes in Japan are pretty cheap (compared to Norway) and also because the heel on one of my boots broke and I needed a new pair.

I bought one pair pumps and two pair of boots (one with high heel). I forgot to take picture!

So even though I was thinking to not buy any shoes because I really can’t have much more things with me home because of the weight limit on the flight, I did. And I suck. 

I was really hungry so we we looked around for a place to eat – and we found one that looked good. Ajigen Kumamatsuri Okumura is the name of the place.

Food tickets machines are pretty common in casual restaurants Japan. They work like a regular vending machine, you decide what you want to have, press a button and put in money. The machine will print out a ticket for you, you give the ticket to the server. They prepare and serve the meal. Easy, and they don’t need to deal with any disgusting money!

Food ticket machine... They probably have a better suited name, but oh well.

Sapporo Miso-ramen!

I was really good, I ate all of it! I think you already know from the name, but THIS IS A RAMEN-NOODLE-THING prepared in Sapporo style. Marcus had Hakodate Shio ramen, which is… another kind of ramen from Hakodate. I want to taste all kind of ramen, but I guess that’s impossible for me lol.

After this, we weren’t ready to head home yet. It was raining so walking around in the rain wasn’t exactly tempting. We went inside discount chain store Don Quijote. They have almost everything you can imagine!

I got a little homesick when we came to the animal section… I saw a lot of cute clothing and snack for dogs. I’m always thinking about Mimi, but seeing all the dog stuff almost made me cry lol. Thinking that she is safe and taken good care of while I was away comforted me, though. My parents and siblings are very careful with her, she couldn’t have been at a better place.

Bought some presents to my baby girl Mimi, of course! Treats and clothing from Japan, haha! Lucky girl who has a mama that buy her new and exiting treats all the time~ She is just like me, she loves to taste new stuff!

I have to admit that I’m very strict about what Mimi can eat, more stricter than I am with myself. Like with food for myself, I check the back of the package to see what the snack is contained. The difference between me and her is… well, I ALWAYS do that with things I give to her while I once in a while don’t care when it comes to myself. I just want her to eat healthy.

She is very precious and she is so small – I don’t want her to eat something that might be bad for her. I know a lot of treats for dogs are made of things that things I WON’T let my baby girl eat. I once saw treats that contained added sugar, not joking! It might be that our pets would like the, but… whyyyyy?

This time buying treats was a little bit hard, though. There was a lot of prepared soft treats, which in most cases is containing a lot more of unnecessarily ingredients than what dried meat is. I can’t read any Japanese, and since I didn’t want to take the chance I bought some dried meat sticks. They probably have some preservatives like most stuff that isn’t fresh, but I won’t let her have many of those in a short time range.

…not that this has anything to do with the blog entry to do at all, I just… I don’t know. It felt great to write it down, even though I feel that some people that reads this will think something either negative or positive about me now. I might be a hypocrite, I know. She is probably eating a lot of weird stuff from the ground when she’s outside anyways. But it’s my responsible to take care of her and to be aware about what I am giving to her.

I just wonder if there is some other that feel this way about their pet? I sometimes feel that I’m overprotective… And people have told me that I was putting too much energy in this when I make home made treats out of pure meat.

She’s my precioussss after all.

We went home, and I was craving for some fruits and something light to eat. We went to 7-11, and apparently there was a lottery thing going on for those who had bought anything. Aaaand I won! GUESS WHAT I WON?

A coffee! YAY! Hahaha, LOL@ME,why I am always so silly?

That was unexpected! I usually never win anything!

Today I got a package in my mail!

I usually get a lot of mails because I’m doing a lot of online shopping, so receiving packages is… not a big deal. But I’ve been waiting for this package so I was really exited!

He sent me some Japanese sweets! And I was supposed to eat healthy!

I like the one on the top-middle best. I don’t really know what it is since I can’t read Japanese, but I like the taste. It reminds me of dried fish hahaahha.

Wait~! It was more stuff inside the package as well! Snack and Halloween hoodie to Mimi and cute socks to me!

Cute stuff, eh? The socks are super comfy and warm. I’m actually wearing them now as I write!
Mimi loooooooved the snack and the hoodie fitted her. It’s getting really cold here in Norway these days, so the hoodie is a highly appreciated gift!

I also tried out the face mask Marita gave to me. I already have a small skin care routine, so it’s hard to find time to try out new stuff. But today I had time so why not!!

But hahahahaha, I look so horrible in the two first pictures. These pictures was too hilarious to not post, though. Mimi and I are often having same face expressions… She kinda copies my mood? When I’m sad and depressed and sleep the whole day away, she usually does the same. When I’m very happy and in party-mode she’s going crazy as well.

On this day we went to the Vatican Museums. To be honest, I’m not really a museum person. I usually don’t go sightseeing and to museums when I travel, I just… don’t find it interesting. I’m more into food, culture and making new friends when I travel. But I do have to admit that there’s something about the architecture in Rome… I’ts so beautiful and magical. So, who knows? Why not go to the Vatican Museum? And going there with Marcus could be fun.

When we got to the museum and were standing in line to buy tickets, a random girl come up to us and ask us if we are going in. We said yes, and she gave us two tickets to the museum. She told that they weren’t used and she quickly went back to her friends. This all was so unexpected and suddenly so I can’t even remember if we thanked her. But we really appreciate it, we saved some money! That was nice of her. Thank you.

It was soooo much stuff to see there, it really is something you should do if you get a chance. Being in the Sistine Chapel and seeing the ceiling was the most amazing though… Too bad it was forbidden to take pictures. Seeing Michelangelos art in real life really is something for itself. His paintings are famous for some reason! I consider myself lucky that had the opportunity to see them with my own eyes. My favorite painting in this museum is “The Creation of Adam“, not surprisingly.

Italy has a lot of paintings and other artwork they can be proud of, I totally understand why their art is so famous. We Norwegians have only the freak Edvard Munch and his crazy painting The Scream. LOL!!! Such a troll comparing to Michelangelo!!!!

I think it’s the Scandinavia art style… Italian art is very much about pomposity and making the viewer feeling speechless and stupid who cannot do the same. The human anatomy is perfect and so is the light and shadows – everything is so correct that it’s almost scary. The Scandinavia art style is much more about all the opposite, and Munch is a perfect example of that.

Marcus drew a picture of me, you see it here on the left. I think this is grade A+++++++++++++++ art. It could have been something Munch could have drawn.

MMHHH, look at all the crazy details. He drew every single hair and even eyelashes, it looks so realistic this could have been a picture taken with a camera! The secret smile and sensual red hair… Look at the mysterious eyes, it’s like Mona Lisa 2! I wonder how many years he spent drawing this fantastic piece of art. He sure is a genius.

[in case you are doubting (which I really hope you don't do), I'm joking from the part where I mentioned Munch for the first time. I know nothing about art and I do know I can't compare Michelangelo and Munch LOL!!!!!]

Back to ROME!

After two hours of constantly watching the ceiling, something weird happened with my back. It got really bad so every step I took killed my back even more. I felt like a old lady  8o|

We went to the museums café because I needed sit down and to have something to drink. While I looked for a place to sit, Marcus asked me what I wanted. I said that he could surprise me (in reality I was focusing more to find a place to sit asap). And guess what he came back with?

Juice, latte AND ice coffé. LOL Very bad picture, tho. LOL

He sure did surprise me LOL!!!

We went back home to Marcus’ family and ate fish for dinner. I love to eat all kind of fish, but I’m not good at cooking fish which result me in not eating it so much as I would. I’ve never had someone I can cook fish for, so I haven’t got any chance to practice… I hope I can be good at cooking fish in the future, because I would love to eat fish ever second day! It’s healthy and I looooooooove the taste. And we have the best fish in Norway so I should eat it more often AHHHH OKOK ENOUGH FISH TALK.

Ahhhh, a picture of the delicious sea bream right before they got cooked! I get so hungry every time I see this picture... I LOVE eating fish OM NOM NOM. OK FOR REAL, NO MORE FISH TALK.

Crazy family dog, Tao.

I love dogs, but I’m not sure what I feel about this young man. He’s seriously CRAZY and this is the first dog I’ve ever met that doesn’t respect me !! Dogs use to listen to me, but this one was not listening to any other than his father. In most cases I don’t even need to give dogs commands, dog understands body language and read situations very well – but Tao was… I don’t know. I sometimes wondered if he is socially incompetent :hihi: !!! I even tried to give him commands in Italian but he didn’t care. :mimi:

Not funny when he wakes me up in the middle of the night because he wants to play and DOESN’T GIVE UP. Or when he jumps up in bed and won’t get off and licks my feet and DOESN’T STOP. AHHHHHHh 8o| But no, seriously – might be something about him still being very young.  :noter: A little rebel!

I’m happy my dear dog Mimi never was like this. Or, maybe she was but I didn’t really notice as she’s so small and really can’t annoy me – because it’s easy to ignore her when she do stupid things. And she hates being ignored – so she don’t do stupid things. GOOD GIRL!

I miss Tao. He was annoying, but so funny!

I've started to fall in love with red lipstick lately! I actually think I like red lips more than nude lips... I think red might be my color?

So, this year have been one of the best Christmas ever. Not that I actually celebrate Christmas – my family don’t have any Christmas traditions or anything. I don’t mind, and do enjoy to share these days with people who celebrate Christmas.

I’ve actually made traditional Christmas dinner almost every day in December (OMG LOL YES TRUE!!!), and some time ago my boyfriend and I baked gingerbreads!

Best gingerbreads ever. So wtf and ugly, but we had a lot of fun!

... but at the end, we were tired of making them so we rolled something random which we though looked like Australia LOL!!! Do you see the koala bear? And you can read the word "drugs" on the gingerbread because I associate Australia with it. I've been watching the customs border program too much, I guess. DRUGS DETECTED DU RU DU RU DU RU!

I’ve been working at the nursing home the past four years around these times, but this year I am not working at all. Without talking too much about why I’m not, I decided to join my boyfriends family instead. I don’t regret, although I have to admit I’m not sure how to survive next school term when I haven’t been working at all this winter. I guess I’ll have to be reeeeally careful with money (yeah, right). :$:

This year, Mimi and I was in Kongsvinger with my boyfriend and his family. We didn’t go anywhere else except from the pet store shopping for some stuff to Mimi. To be honest, I was hoping my boyfriend would take me out or something because I would love to know his hometown even more. The only reason he couldn’t was because of the cold, it was fucking -27°C at a point!! Poor little Mimi, she was so cold on her paws and had trouble walking… I’ve bought her some shoes now, so we’re even more prepared for the cold now! :mimi:
