I spent my whole Friday evening yesterday modifying a old blazer into… a… more… different blazer!

And here's the result!

Before and after

I'm very pleased with the shoulder part!

Front
I have many blazers that looks very alike, and I was actually thinking about throwing some of them away. Luckily, I got this idea on my mind and finally I did something about it.
I’m quite happy with the result, I was supposed to put on more studs and spikes – but my fingers are too sore right now. I might do it another day! I would not do this all over again, however – my fingers are hurting, my fingernails broke and it’s really boring since you’re doing the same thing over and over again. I don’t have the patience for that kind of stuff.

Thank you, Viivi! I’ve seen a lot of studded/spiked biker jackets, but no blazers! Now I have one! :D

It’s better to throw them away! I’ve seen a lot of studded biker jackets, but I didn’t find any blazers which I liked. Now I have one :D

where did you buy these spikes and studs? so far I haven’t seen any cheap ones on ebay that look so legit o.o
Btw today I was on tumblr and saw this picture and instantly thought about your blazer ^^

Whoa, that one in the picture is so cool! Thanks for sharing the picture
I’ve bought mine in local stores, mostly… Maybe look around in some DIY stores in your area?
Good luck finding spikes and studs!

Wow! This is really cool, I love seeing peoples DIY items. It’s so much better that you changed it rather than throw it away, and now you know no one else with have one exactly the same, as you made it.

Thank you so much! Yeah, I agree! I had a lot of fun doing this as well, and I’ve been looking for a studded blazer for a long time… Making one myself = getting exactly what you wanted and saving a few bucks! :D
