I met Marcus in Shibuya 18:45, and guess what? He surprised me with a flower, again! I didn’t expect any flowers at all, especially when he already gave me a rose a few days earlier… But he gave me a flower!

Marcus is really amazing, isn't he? Long time ago I told him that my favorite flower is sunflower (ahaha, super practical right? NOT!), and I guess he remembered that and bought me a flower that looks like a sunflower! Cute!!!
Not only that, but he had also two donuts/cakes/whatever it is called with him. But since I’m very strict about not eating sweet stuff before a meal (that’s a huge no-no for me!), we decided to eat them later.
We were both hungry and it was dinner time, so we went inside Tokyu Department Store to look and found a traditional Japanese restaurant; Udon no Shikoku. It seemed interesting so we decided to go in!
The place had an cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Not exactly what I would expect in a building right next to the extremely crowded and busy Shibuya station!

Their menu was colorful and had nice pictures!

Me :)

Marcus! I didn't take any picture of the restaurant, but in the background in this picture you can see a little of it~
Even though I had been in Japan for almost a month, I still wasn’t used to people that believed that I understood Japanese. The waitress was talking to me when Marcus was the one who ordered our food, something I think is kind of weird. It might have something to do about me nodding when people are talking to me – it’s something I do unconsciously.
Anyways, the food was served quickly and it looked really good!

The main dish; Nabe Yaki Udon, some kind of a udon hot-pot. You can see a big tempura shrimp and a lot of different fresh groceries. This dish also had a egg and two different kinds of mushrooms.
The mushrooms tasted sooooo good. I’m weak for mushrooms! I would probably like the tempura shrimp better if it wasn’t soaked. I love tempura shrimp – but not when it’s soaked!!! It feels weird and doesn’t taste as good as it could, but that’s just my personal opinion. The soaked tempura shrimp was the only thing about this dish that I didn’t like… It was really tasty!

The side dishes, different parts of pork grilled in different ways (if I remember right) on spears and rice + tsukemono (Japanese pickles).
The round things on the spears are eggs (not sure what kind of, maybe some of my readers know?) and tomato. I’m so happy we ordered those spears – it was so tasty! The meat was juicy, crispy and sweet at the same time. I guess the sweetness is from either honey or sugar – not sure – but it was like a caramel coat!
Later we went to ice cream store Baskin-Robbins. We don’t have them in Norway (like with a lot of other things that other countries have…), and of course I had to go there!

I was holding this cute little thing on the right! Marcus had the panda I had the traumatized rabbit! It was hard to eat it, they were soooo cute and I kinda wanted to save them ;_; LOL
Cute ice creams, right? And those who have been reading my blog for a while knows that I loooove ice cream, so cute things combined with ice cream is sieghosrgirshguerhegpsådrgurgdrig. I don’t think it’s possible for any ice cream to taste bad, so I won’t write about how good this was lol.
We went to a game center to look and wasted a lot of money in a claw game machine thing. LOL!!! We didn’t win anything this time!!
And of course when we’re in a game center there are always purikura booths nearby. Here are some of the mandatory purikura pictures:

I really like them! Click on image for lager.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand, like the other day, we didn’t want to go home – so we sang karaoke!

Aaaand, of course we didn't forget the donuts Marcus had bought earlier! They're from Krispy Kreme! They were so good, I am glad we don't have Krispy Kreme in Norway because that would be dangerous for me! 8D
Karaoke was the perfect way to end this day… We sang karaoke until the last train was going.
My day couldn’t be any better.

I’m very happy we don’t have Kristy Kremes in Norway, if we had I would probably eat myself fat!

You two are so cute~!
I’m envious, haha, I really want to go to Japan for a trip too, but there’s never any time.
I didn’t realise Norway didn’t have a lot of stores/brands. I kind of assumed anything that’s American can be found all over the world, lol. By the way, the eggs are probably quail eggs.
