Marcus and I hadn’t really planned anything today, the only thing on our schedule was to buy a rice-cooker (lol) and a pair of new shoes for me since one of the heels/sole on the boots I was wearing started to get loose.
Two friends of Marcus, I will call them P and A, asked us if we wanted to join them this evening. Since we didn’t have any specific plans anyways we were thinking why not.
We went to a place called «Dan», a Izakaya restaurant located in Nakameguro.

Me and A.

Sake, the waitress poured the liqueur in the glass, and she let it run over (did I explain it right? ;_; ) so the square thing was filled with liqueur too. We drank from the glass and when we finished it we poured the sake from the square box-thing back in the glass. Idk if this is a tradition or what, but this is how I got told to drink it. It was weird, but also funny :)

We ate a lot of different stuff, but this is the only picture I took...................................... I hate myself.

P and Marcus

oh lol
We went somewhere nearby, but the drinks were a little expensive so we decided to go somewhere else instead, I think. All I can remember is that we took a cab to Shibuya .

Shibuya, that day.
We wanted to sing karaoke so we decided to go to Big Echo. While we walked, my heel started to get more loose… Of course, the way I walked only made the problem worse. I guess I COULD have been a little bit more careful, but I was thinking I was gonna buy new shoes soon anyways .

Found a mirror in the karaoke lounge... So had to take a pic! My outfit! top: H&M, jacket: Lipsy, gloves: Morris, belt: D.I.A., scarf: Glitter, pants: D.I.A, boots: Wild Rose
Singing with Marcus’ friends was a lot of fun! I don’t know how much time we spent there, but my throat was really sore so it means we were singing a lot!

Unfortunately, this is the online-friendly picture I took. lol
When our karaoke time was over, Marcus and I decided to go home. My heel was really bad, almost falling off. It was so bad that I basically couldn’t walk on it anymore. It was too late to buy a new pair of shoes – the stores were closed. BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Before heading home we took a new set of purikura! Of course.

While we decorated the purikura, we realized that the last train home was going any minute… We had to run. And well, running with high heels isn’t a problem, since I mostly walk on the toes anyways. Running with one broken heel wasn’t that hard. BUT the sound of the metal heels smashed down on the ground for every step I took was sooo horrible, though – I can image how weird it must have been to see a girl running down Center Gai with this loud sound from her broken metal stiletto heel.
We managed to get on the last train, even though I was so slow. We were really lucky there! Unfortunately, I somehow managed to hurt my feet. So when we got off the train, I wanted to rest somewhere – and this somewhere is not surprisingly a McDonalds.
And, well – it’s actually kind of embarrassing to post it online – but my excuse is that I wasn’t really thinking. Here is what Marcus and I ordered:

No comments. I know what you're thinking.
And since I’ve been writing so much about my broken heel, I’m pretty sure some of you wonder how bad the damage was.

...My heels... FML, right? I miss these shoes so much!
I’m not sure how much time we spent in McD, but we was there for a really long time – I was pretty sure my feet was better, but I was totally wrong. After walking 20 steps we decided to take a cab home. LOL, I’m such a stupid girl sometimes.
Edit: I first wrote that I drank umeshu but Marcus corrected me and said that we drank a sweet sake.

I love their jeans!
Hm, I can’t remember exactly how much I paid for them, as I also paid shipping for them. But it was no doubt somewhere over 15.000 JPY in total.

I usually dye it myself og let some people I know do it for me, so basically it’s only the dye and a cup of coffee and a cake (if my friend did it for me) that costs:)

That sake must have been good. Look what it did to those two guys faces.
Did you blurr out the pictures because of privacy issues or because they were better looking than Marcus?

Are you trying to be funny, or what?
You could easily ask that question in a better way so you wouldn’t sound so rude.
But yes, privacy issues.

I should have put some of these at the end.
Well it did/does sound funny from where I’m sitting.
Besides, M is so cute I can’t see many women resisting his charm. Kawaii Otoko!

Sorry for misunderstanding your comment, then
Yes, he is! Lucky me
Your poor shoes!! T_T My heel actually came loose on one of my fave pair of shoes too.. they’re so freaking comfy and give me a good boost with my height.. but the first time I wore them out, I wasn’t careful and rocked back on my heel and suddenly.. my right heel came a bit loose. I haven’t had it repaired yet.. but I was so upset ~~

I totally can relate to what you feel…But it must have been 100x worse thinking that they were your favorite pair… OMG.
But I guess you still have them around, and you can have them repaired? It still sux, though.
It would have been so much better if it didn’t happend at all in the first!

I’ve really enjoyed reading your posts especially the ones that involves traveling. It feels like I’m right there with you.
As for the lost heel, have you consider looking for a local shoe repair shop? I have the same incident as you. the the repairman was able to fix it good as new.
Those boots look super chio. I would certainly not want to throw them away. D:

Hi Liz!
Thank you so much for your nice comment. It makes me glad to read that you enjoy reading my blog posts! I’ve always thought that I’m writing too much and that people mostly don’t care – and that they would rather see a more pictures and less texts! LOL
Thanks!
I’m happy to hear that it isn’t necessarily for everyone.
Too bad I wasn’t thinking back then, I threw them when I packed my suitcase… I didn’t prioritize them… I wish I did, though – because I really liked this pair of boots!
